The Discernment Team is offering small group meetings led by members of the Discernment Team. Please click HERE to sign up. The groups will be limited to 12 attendees. This will be an hour of questions, discussion and fellowship. As groups fill up more sessions will be added.
If you would like to host a meeting in your home or at church, you may sign up HERE or email discern@madisonfumc.com and a team member will contact you.
Do you have an existing class, small group or group of friends who would like to meet? Email discern@madisonfumc.com to schedule members of the discernment team to join you.
The next Church-wide meeting will be held on November 6th at 5 PM in the Wesley Building for a full church discussion.
Discernment Team Presentation Correction
In our presentation, the discernment team stated that Book of Discipline violations related to Human Sexuality were not occurring in the North Georgia Annual Conference. On 9/23, we learned of and confirmed an incident that led us to retract that statement. Though we cannot modify the presentation video, we have corrected the presentation slides.
