Dear Church Members,
After much thought and prayer, Catherine Simmons, will be stepping down from her position as Director of Volunteers and Worship Coordinator. She will continue to be active in the congregation but would like to serve as a regular church member.
Catherine has been on our ministry staff for over seven years and has been an invaluable part of our team. Catherine is the hub of our volunteer recruitment efforts and coordination of volunteer committee leaders. She works tirelessly behind the scenes to make Sunday morning worship run smoothly. Because of her attention detail, our weekly ministry programs go off without a hitch. Her relationships within our community and congregation provides a seamless connection between the two. Catherine’s position description was the starting point for her work- not the limit.
We are all grateful for Catherine’s commitment to Christ, her work in this church, and the relationships she built. Please express your appreciation for her good work on her last Sunday, February 9th at both worship services or send her a note to 1101 Magnolia Drive, Madison, GA 30650.
